The F-ONE Wing Range

How To Choose Your F-ONE W? 2

After the resounding success of our SWING and STRIKE wings over the past few years, we added a brand-new wing to our range for 2024: the ORIGIN. It was important for us to return to the original feeling of our very first SWING, a wing which was light and very easy to use, and that offered an intuitive ride without the need for high speeds or big jumps. The ORIGIN was quickly developed to meet this demand, while still benefiting from all the R&D advancements made since our very first wing.

Our entire range is built around two major principles: stiffness and lightness, ensuring each wing delivers optimal performance for whichever program it was created for. One of the main differences between a beginner and an advancer rider is most often speed, which is where stiffness comes into play. Less stiffness in a wing, like in the ORIGIN, will provide more comfort and will make the wing more forgiving, accessible, and not too demanding physically. A softer wing will perform better on its low end and in lighter winds.
A stiffer wing like the STRIKE will provide better performances, increased upwind angle, unmatched speed, as well as a better pop and hangtime. A stiffer wing will perform better on its high end and in stronger winds.

Moreover, offering light wings has been one of our main goals since the beginning. One thing that you get with an F-ONE wing is incredible lightness, and a wing that will feel like it’s almost flying itself and that will be super easy to forget about.
At the end of the day, we want everyone to have the lightest possible wing in their hands, one that perfectly matches their needs and levels, and one that was engineered to deliver the best possible sensations.

ORIGIN

2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0 / 3.5 / 4.0 / 4.5 / 5.0 / 5.5 m²

The ORIGIN is a super comfortable, light, forgiving, and accessible wing that feels effortless to ride. It allows the easiest take-offs with minimal and efficient pumping, as well as intuitive power delivery with barely any adjustments needed once in the air. Its controlled speed allows you to ride without excessive effort or fatigue.

The ORIGIN has a bit more flex than our other wings, which makes it very user-friendly and a great all-around wing. This wing is the softest and most comfortable one of our range.

An absolute dream in the low end, the ORIGIN is for everyone who’s not aiming for top speed, who doesn’t like riding overpowered, and for all who are simply looking for a smooth and easy-going session. It is the ideal choice for riders looking to spend long hours on the water, those who ride larger foils and boards and need easy power for planing starts, or for beginners looking for a high-quality wing with great potential to evolve and progress.

SWING

2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0 / 3.5 / 4.0 / 4.5 / 5.0 / 5.5 m²

With its more compact outline and slightly lower aspect, the SWING shines in the waves and in downwinds. It is incredibly light and well balanced, with a super smooth traction and power delivery: take off, extend your arms, lean back, this wing will do the rest. The SWING holds itself perfectly and steadily in the air during freefly, allowing you to fully focus on surfing or reading bumps.

The SWING will be the perfect choice for any wave rider, and is great when needing just enough speed and control to get past the foam or small chop totally at ease. Offering an impressive upwind angle at a reasonable speed, it is particularly efficient in onshore or rougher conditions, where you need to ride a bit more calmy with less accelerations.

The more entry-level or shorter riders will appreciate this wing because of its compact shape as well. It is also a great choice if you’re looking to size down and have a smaller wing earlier.

STRIKE

2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0 / 3.5 / 4.0 / 4.5 / 5.0 / 5.5 m²

The STRIKE loves to accelerate and go fast. The stiffest wing of the range and the one with the crisper and punchier feel, the STRIKE delivers speed while guaranteeing comfort, stability, power and precision.

The STRIKE’s control throughout the wind range is impressive, allowing you to easily handle stronger winds. For those who love speed, the wing provides a new “Going Forward” feeling that unlocks thanks to an impressive forward traction delivering fantastic horizontal acceleration. In the low end, it never seems to suffer from air holes or heading winds, maintaining a constant glide and exceptional upwind abilities.

Made for performance and a more committed ride, the STRIKE will appeal to riders looking for speed, those who like to ride overpowered, and those on faster foils (<1000 cm²) or on foils like the SEVEN SEAS which have a fair amount of glide. It’s also undoubtedly the perfect wing for freestylers who need to go fast to jump high as it provides a massive pop and hangtime.

STRIKE CWC

6.0 / 7.0 / 8.0 / 9.0 m²

The STRIKE CWC was built for light wind, and our Compact Wing Concept (CWC) patent continues to prove its effectiveness for large wing surfaces in such conditions.

Lightweight, accessible, and benefiting from a very user-friendly pull-and-go low end, the STRIKE CWC is perfectly balanced and easy to forget about in flight. Its ease of pumping and incredible forward traction, inspired by the STRIKE, lead to a unique glide, enabling more enjoyable and prolonged sessions. The CWC makes going upwind easy and boasts an impressive high end as well so you can absorb the gusts if the wind picks up.

Overall, the STRIKE CWC is a very versatile wing that makes you feel a lot like riding a 5 m² in good wind, even when it isn’t actually the case. It works just as great for a first-time beginner as for a pro level rider who wants a bigger, more powerful wing for those light wind days. For the novice, it allows you to learn winging on the more calm and mellow days, while still having adequate power. It is also a fantastic choice for heavier rider looking for reactivity, performance and fun.

In a Nutshell

Crafted with expertise and passion, our four wings offer unique performance characteristics to match various styles and conditions. By understanding the strengths of each wing, you can now make an informed choice that aligns perfectly with your ride and ambitions.
